Gilleland Creek Park encompasses Gilleland Creek Pool, a Jr. Olympic-size swimming pool, along with a lighted pavilion with picnic tables, BBQ pit, grill and additional electrical provisions. The park area has a playscape and the hike and bike trail crosses Gilleland Creek which runs parallel to the pavilion. There is also an outdoor exercise area.
Gilleland Creek Park is also home to the city’s Great Pecan tree. This tree is the 17th largest in the state of Texas and largest in Travis County and located near the Gilleland Pavilion and just off the Gilleland Creek Trail.
