ARTbor Day

Celebrate ARTbor Day with us at Windermere Park on Saturday, November 8! The event is family friendly and free for all ages. It runs from 9 am to noon with a proclamation at 8:30 am.

Come plant trees, participate in art activities and help artists Ernesto Hernandez and Cindy Tobar bring the mural Daydreams in Bloom to life. Enjoy woodturning demonstrations from the Central Texas Woodturners, tree climbing demonstrations from the Davey Tree Expert Company, activities with the Pflugerville Parks Foundation, a stroll along the trail and touch-a-truck. Bring your pfamily and pfriends for a tree-mendously pfun morning of art and nature and take home a PFREE tree. Remember to wear painting clothes, comfortable close-toed shoes and bring water bottles and sunscreen too.

• 8:30 – Reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation
• 8:45 – Citizen Pforester Class of ’25 certificate ceremony
• 9:00 – Tree planting demonstration 
• 9:00 – All venders and activities open
• 12:00 – Event wraps up, but feel free to stick around and enjoy Windermere Park or walk the trail along Gilleland Creek.
